This Privacy Policy applies only to the UCDMS Mobile App (the App) to the exclusion of any third party websites or apps. The App may provide links to other sites which it believes may be of interest to the Users of the App. We do not guarantee the privacy standards of those sites to which it links or be responsible for the contents of sites other than this one, and this Privacy policy is not intended to be applicable to any linked, third-party site.
The App has been developed and is managed by CarTrade Tech Ltd (CTT) and has been individually licensed to automotive dealerships in India. Each individual dealership (hereafter ‘Dealer’) manages his own account and presence on the App and by using this App your information will be shared to the Dealer under terms hereafter.
Where you submit your personal information through our App in connection with a vehicle enquiry, service request, test drive request, or similar interaction, we collect and process such information for the purpose of forwarding it to the relevant authorized Dealer. By submitting your details, you provide explicit consent for us to share your information with the concerned Dealer to enable them to contact you and fulfil your request. Once shared, the Dealer processes your information as an independent data controller/business, and their handling of your personal data will be governed by their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for the Dealer’s subsequent use, storage, disclosure, or processing of your information.
CTT or its affiliates shall process personal data only for lawful purposes and on the basis of consent provided by the User or as otherwise permitted under applicable laws.
By accessing or using the App and providing personal information, you provide your free, specific, informed, and unconditional consent for the collection, processing, storage, and use of such personal data for purposes including but not limited to providing services on the App, forwarding enquiries to authorized dealers, improving platform functionality, analytics, compliance with legal obligations, fraud prevention, and communication regarding services offered through the Website.
Such consent may be withdrawn at any time in accordance with applicable law, subject to the consequences of such withdrawal.

CarTrade Tech Ltd built the UCDMS app as a Commercial app and it is part of a commercial offering (‘The Service’) made available to users via our Website and App. This Service is provided by CarTrade Tech Ltd or its subsidiary or associates or affiliates company and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

Our App takes the following permissions during usage and all are needed for seamlessly using the App:
- To share vehicle images from the UCDMS app to a buyer, seller, or dealer via WhatsApp, you need to save their phone number in your phone's contacts. This will enable you to share images directly and easily from the UCDMS app.
We will require you to provide us READ CONTACTS permission to check whether that selected buyer/seller/dealer contact is saved in your phonebook contacts list or not, if not saved then we ask to save that contact first before sharing images from UCDMS app

The contact information that we request will be retained on your device, does not get shared with CarTrade Tech Ltd and is not collected/shared with third-party companies or used for any other purpose beyond what is described.
- Our app allows you to manage your customers and interact with them with regards to their car requirement. To make this process easier, you can select phone numbers from within our app and your dialler is then loaded with the number prefilled. You can then initiate the phone call from the dialler.
- To create an accurate car listing, evaluation report or dealer profile, your exact location is important, so that buyers can plan their visit. Therefore, our app needs access to the location permission.
- Our application allows you to upload your in-stock cars to UCDMS app. You can also share car details with other dealers or inspect your cars using our app. Images are a very important part of any car report, car overview or car listing. In order for you to append images to your listing, evaluation report or to share images with other dealers, we need access to your storage so that you can select images to create a custom report. In addition, we allow you to select a specific sequence of images and to edit certain parts of the image, for which storage access is also needed.
- Our application allows you to upload your in-stock cars to UCDMS app. You can also share car details with other dealers or inspect your cars using our app. Images are a very important part of any car report, car overview or car listing. In order for you to capture live and current images to your listing, evaluation report or to share images with other dealers, the app will access images so that you can capture live images to create a custom report. In addition, images are captured in a specific sequence and using specific dimensions to create an optimal report which will help create a standardized review. In addition, for vehicles that you have won in auction, you can capture documents pertaining to your auction from your camera.
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to names, phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, company name. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy. The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. When you use the Website, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your personal information and either to correct this data if it is inaccurate or to delete such data at your request if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes. We ask Users to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected or removed before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required. By using this App, you hereby legally authorise CTT or its affiliates to collect, receive, store, process, use, verify, and retain personal information and documents submitted by you or on your behalf for the purposes of account creation, identity verification, compliance with applicable laws, facilitation of services available on the Website, and for operational, administrative, legal, regulatory, or security purposes.
Such information may include, without limitation, identity and verification documents such as Permanent Account Number (PAN), Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving Licence, address proof, contact information, business credentials, dealership information, and any other Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation or information as may be required from time to time.
You acknowledge and agree that CTT or its affiliates may store, process, and maintain such information and documents in electronic form on secure servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure maintained either by CTT or by authorized third-party service providers engaged by CTT for the purposes of providing the services through the Website.
You further consent that such information may be shared, disclosed, or transferred by CTT or its affiliates to authorized dealers, service providers, technology partners, verification agencies, regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, or other third parties where such disclosure is necessary for the provision of services, compliance with applicable legal or regulatory requirements, fraud prevention, identity verification, dispute resolution, or enforcement of the terms of this Agreement.
CTT shall take reasonable and commercially practicable measures to protect such information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction; however, you acknowledge that transmission of information over the internet may not be completely secure and CTT shall not be liable for any unauthorized access or breach beyond its reasonable control.
By submitting such information and documents on the App, you represent and warrant that you have the lawful authority and necessary consent to provide such information and that the information provided is true, accurate, and complete
Where personal data of customers is shared with Dealers in connection with vehicle enquiries, service requests, or related services, such Dealers shall be responsible for processing such personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and their own privacy policies.
CTT shall not be responsible for any misuse, unauthorized disclosure the independent processing, storage, or handling of personal data by such dealers.
CTT has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) in compliance with applicable laws. DPO shall act as the Grievance Officer and shall address any discrepancies and grievances that you may have. In case of any unresolved concerns, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.
